   把不等直徑的階梯軸,連同安裝的零件,當成直徑為dm的等直徑軸計算。其計算公式為
:
式中 li—階梯軸i段的長度;
     di—階梯軸i段的直徑;
     L—兩支承之間的長度;
      當載荷作用于兩支承之間時,L=l;
      當載荷作用于懸鋅端時,L=1+K;
     K一軸的懸臂長度。
    圖12.4-2為選取軸等效直徑和長度舉例。如圖中所示兩支承之間與軸安裝在一起的零件,其計算長度為零件寬度的1 /2,齒寬2l5,則等效直徑長取15,等效直徑取節圓直徑d5;安裝在軸懸鉀端上的實心齒輪,計算長度取零件寬度的1/4,如齒寬4l1,取l1為計算長度,節圓直徑d1為等效直徑。
    如軸上有花鍵取平均直徑為計算直徑,實心皮帶輪取外徑為計算直徑;用小過盈配合與軸安裝的零件,如滾動軸承內圈,則不計人,仍按原軸徑為計算直徑。

注:1.如果實際作用載荷的方向與圖示相反,則公式中的正負號應相應改變。
   2.表中公式適用于彈性模盆E =206 x 10^3 MPa。
   3.標有“*”的ymax計算公式適用于a > b的場合,ymax產生在A-D段。當a<b時,ymax產生在B-D段,計算時應將式中的b換成a.x換成x1,θA換成θB。
