    箱體設計中首先是確定箱璧厚度,其中關鍵是定出主要承載堵的厚度,以此作為箱體壁厚的參考值。用常規計算來確定壁厚時,通常需要將箱體簡化,而后按工程力學的一般方法進行計算。當由鑄造箱體改為焊接箱體時,則可用等價截面法,求得焊接箱體的壁厚。
    軸承座是焊接箱體的主要構件之一,其結構型式見表18.2-30,
