    可以根據計算出的摩擦功耗由圖13.5-2估算軸承油膜的工作溫度。

摩擦因數
    假定軸承中摩擦產生的熱量全部經軸承座表面散去。軸承座表面的熱流密度φ)為

式中  A—軸承座散熱表面積。
    由圖13.5-2,根據φ值(右側縱坐標)和空氣流動速度在點劃線找到一點,該點的橫坐標為軸承座表面溫度與環境溫度之差。從該點垂直向上,與(空氣流動速度)相應的實線相交,交點的左側縱坐標為油膜工作溫度與軸承座表面溫度之差。已知環境溫度,即可利用這兩個數據求出油膜工作溫度。它應該在潤滑劑和軸瓦材料的允許范圍內,否則應采取加強散熱措施或改變軸承參數。
