潤滑劑的選擇    
    絕大多數滑動軸承應用礦物潤滑油或潤滑脂做潤滑劑。如果軸承的工作溫度較高,則需采用合成
潤滑油,溫度再高,可以采用固體潤借劑,或無潤滑滑動軸承。采用氣體做潤滑劑也適合于很高的工
作溫度。礦物油有較寬的粘度范圍,可以加人各種添加以獲得需要的性能,去適應不同的載荷和速度
    潤滑脂僅用于運轉速度1~2m/s以下的低速軸承及斷續運轉場合,它能適應有污物和潮濕的環境。合成油可以耐高溫,不易燃,揮發性低,粘溫特性好,但粘度范圍有限,價格高,只在某些特殊場合使用。
    高速輕載滑動軸承可以采用氣體做潤滑劑,這種軸承摩擦功耗低、發熱少,適用溫度范圍寬(耐高
溫可達300一500℃,低溫到10K氣體軸承仍能工作),能抗原子輻射,且不會污染環境。
    采用固體潤滑劑的滑動軸承和用有自潤滑性材料制作的滑動軸承,結構簡單,不污染環境,無需維護保養,且適用溫度范圍寬,在汽車二家用電器、辦公自動化機械、視頻機械中廣泛應用。
潤滑油粘度的選擇
    對流體動力潤滑滑動軸承來說,潤滑油最重要的性質是其粘度和粘溫特性。如果粘度太低,軸承的承載能力就不足;如果粘度太高,功率損耗大、運轉溫度高。圖13. 1-17給出在給定線速度和載荷范圍下允許的(軸承平均工作沮度下的)最小潤滑油粘度。

    潤釋脂的性能在很大程度上決定于基礎油的粘度和稠化劑的種類;瑒虞S承常用潤滑脂的主要性能概括地列在表13.1-49上,供選用時參考。
